About Me

I am and have filled many roles in life. I am a mother, a wife, a sister, and I have been a social worker, a baker, and a manager. But through all of this, I have always been an artist. I started my art journey young, like most kids do, but decided to further pursue my craft in college. I took my first ceramics classes and fell in love with the artistry and craftsmanship. I loved creating from nothing and the feeling of the clay under my hands.

In time, I started my family, but as good things do, I eventually found my way back to my passion. Over the past two decades, I have rebuilt myself as a ceramicist across the Iron Range and greater Northern Minnesota area.

Ten years ago, I began a new chapter as an elementary school art teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching and passing the love of art onto others. This is especially true for the children who are so eager to learn and grow as artists. This is where I find myself today. I’m doing what I love by creating my own art and teaching amazing kids about the beauty and fun that learning art can bring them.
